In questi ultimi dieci anni le donne italiane hanno ormai superato i loro coetanei uomini sia per livello di istruzione, sia per regolarità dei percorsi formativi, sia per i voti che ottengono. Nel popolo dei laureati ormai si registra una forte disparità di genere che vede gli uomini al 19,9%, contro il 32,5% delle donne. Inoltre, dalle università italiane, escono sempre più donne laureate in discipline tecniche e sempre meno in materie letterarie e politico- sociali.

In the last ten years Italian women have by now exceeded their male peers both by level of education, both for the regularity of the training courses, and for the votes they get. In the population of graduates there is now a strong gender disparity that sees men at 19.9%, against 32.5% of women. Moreover, from the Italian universities, more and more women graduated in technical disciplines and less in literary and political-social subjects.
